You’ll meet Anne Ingman in many different roles:
As professional tour guide she will take you on a tour in Raseborg in Swedish, Finnish or English.
Helene Schjerfbeck is one of Finland’s most famous artists. She lived a modest life and spent many years in Ekenäs. Today her works are sold for big money at Sothesby’s and other international auction houses. Anne takes you on a walking tour through the old town of Ekenäs in the shape of Helene Schjerfbeck and tells you about the artist’s life in the little town. Helene Schjerfbeck enjoyed visiting the Raseborg Castle ruins and Sjundby Manor and on request Anne will also take you to these places.
The lady of the castle, Katarina, lived in the Raseborg castle in the 1470-80s. During a dramatized guided tour, you will get acquainted with the history of the castle and the way of living at that time. You can also book a time travel for your group, whereas all participants dress up in medieval clothing.
Anne arranges time travel for children in and around the Raseborg castle ruins. A much beloved experience among participants, where the children can listen to stories from the 1470s or 1890s and dress in clothes from that era. They will also receive a snack and have the possibility to paint pictures in the castle.
Anne runs the restaurant Castle Knight’s Lodge just next to the Raseborg castle ruins together with chef Mikael Kokkonen.
You will also find Anne and Mikael together with chef Samuel Mikander in the restaurant Köttkontrollen in Karis, a nice gastropub with a small meat shop downstairs.
